WALLACE OLD ATLANTA STERLING 41PC FLATWARE SET 51.95OZT Here we have an excellent set of Wallace Sterling flatware. The pattern is called "Old Atlanta." It was produced in the late 1800's, brought together the formality of Victorian times and the romantic heritage of the Old South. Old Atlanta depicts this marriage of design with vines and tendrils curling upward on the pillars of the stately antebellum mansion. Every piece is marked "Wallace Sterling." The blades of the butter knives are marked "Wallace Stainless." This set has a bright luster, however there are some minor spots of tarnishing on a few pieces, mainly in the hard to reach crevises of the elegant design. This set includes 41 pieces, however it is not a complete set. Included are 3 serving spoons, measuring 8 1/8" long. One serving fork measuring 8 1/4" long. One sugar spoon measuring 5 7/8" long. Six butter knives measuring 9" long. Five dinner forks measuring 7 1/8" long. Nine salad forks measuring 6 1/4 long. Ten teaspoons measuring 6" long. And six Jelly knives measuring 6" long. This set weighs a total of 51.95 Troy Ounces, including the weight of the stainless on the butter knives. Truly a fine antique set to complete or start a collection!
