A rare Scottish silver clan brooch / badge for the clan Schaw which is a lowland clan and at the moment has no chief as far as I can see with a little research. I have never seen a clan badge like this for sale so here is the opportunity to either add to your collection of rare items or the brooch / badge of your clan. On the rear is stamped silver with another small mark which I cannot distinguish.
