Offered for auction is a lovely sterling silver footed tray Resembling a cake plate of sorts, this has an elegant fluted design and turned down edge. This serving plate has a slightly concave surface and is slightly less than 2.75" tall to the highest point. It stands on an unweighted foot that is marked Sterling, 9319, 10 1/4", and with the unidentified lion mark as shown. Strong and sturdy, this weighs 14.5 ounces on a digital postal scale. This was cleaned with a soft metal polish to examine for damage. None was found. Indeed this will need additional cleaning and polishing for some more stubborn tarnish spots remain.
