This is a super little cut glass silver lidded bottle. I love the elegant shape of the square bottle with a narrow "waist". The silver lid screws on with a perfect fit. The cork filled lid is a little dented in places and if you look closely you can see a few minor flea bites but these dont detract from the overall appearance of the bottle. The silver marks are engraved into the pattered lid and are quite hard to read! I can see an anchor for Birmingham, a letter "m" for 1911, but cant identify the makers mark. It starts with a "C" but after that I cant tell. The bottle stands at 10.5cm heigh and the sides are just over 4cm wide at their widest point. Any questions please contact me.

This is a stunning Art Nouveau triple part scarab necklace made by Charles Horner of Halifax. Made from solid silver and enamelled in iridescent shades of blue. The inner wings of the scarab are turquoise and the edges a pretty royal blue.The body of the scarab, suspender and drop are in a beautiful kingfisher blue. All of the necklace is in excellent condition and there are no scratches or damage to any of the enamel. Fully hallmarked for silver, Chester 1915 and has the maker's initials C H. From the suspender to the bottom of the drop the necklace measures 6.8 cms / 2.7 ins. The scarab measures 4.5 cms / 1.8 ins across. Length of chain to the suspender is 48 cms / 19 ins. This is an original item and not a reproduction or copy. Wonderful design and looks fabulous when worn. It will be supplied in a new gift box and would make a great antique gift. It was engraved on the back with W.C.T.U., and on the front it was personalized with HG. It's a nice piece of American History- closely tied to prohibition.
