andradeestatesales Store 4 piece Gorham Sterling Silver Tea Coffee Set - 80 oz. Thank you for looking. This auction is for a four piece Gorham Sterling Silver Tea/Coffee set. It is the Kensington Hollowware pattern. There are no monograms. It comes from an estate that we are liquidating. We are not silver experts, but will try to describe everything to the best of our ability. The weights listed below were taken on a postal scale and we believe it to be accurate, but the scale has not been professionally calibrated. There are two serving pots. Both have quality wood handles. We are not sure what kind of wood they are, but guessing that it is walnut or teak. The handles are very sturdy. Both pots hold 2-3/4 pints. The taller of the two pots is marked on the bottom with the number 51 and has the number two in a box. It is approximately 10” high, 8-1/4” across and weighs 31-ounces. The shorter pot is marked on the bottom with the number 52 and has the number one in a box. It is approximately 9” high, 9” across and weighs 29-ounces. The sugar (no lid) is marked on the bottom with the number 53 and has the number two in a box. There is also a small number 11 stamped on the bottom. It is approximately 6-1/2” across from handle to handle. The opening is 3-1/2”. It is 4” high and weighs 12-ounces. The creamer is marked on the bottom with the number 54 and has the number two in a box. It is marked 3/4 pint. It is approximately 4-3/4” high, 4-1/2” across from handle to pour spout, 2-3/4” wide and weighs 9-ounces. We have not polished these pieces, but it will not take much of an effort to make this tea/coffee set really beautiful. The only flaw we found was a small nick on the rim on the shorter pot. In our opinion it does not distract from the beauty of this set. All our items are sold "as is". We try to describe everything as best as we can.
